According tweet from Arcane Research, with data from Glassnode, someone just spent $2.6 million in fees to transfer 0.55 ETH. This is said to be the highest fee ever paid.

It was not long after the initial tweet, that it was discovered that there was a second transaction with a fee of $2.6 million. This means two transactions paid over 10,000 ETH each to transfer as little as 350.55 ETH within a day.

This poses a lot of interesting questions with few answers right now. Some point toward money laundering, while others think is a bug.
